Arnold City Park is one of the most breathtaking parks in Missouri and offers various activities for everyone in the family. Parks are open thirty minutes before sunrise and close thirty minutes after sunset; open the entire day for family, friends, and associates to enjoy quality time outdoors. Arnold City Park is a great way to bring the family together and stay active through its trails and amenities.
Within its 68 acres, Arnold City Park has an 8-acre fishing lake, 4 pavilions, a playground, a paved ½ mile walking trail, 2 multipurpose fields, 2 horseshoe pits, and volleyball poles. Each of the 4 pavilions are available for reservations 364 days in advance of the wanted rental date. All pavilions are equipped with electricity and a BBQ pit.
BANDSTAND PAVILION. Bandstand Pavilion can seat 45 people comfortably. This pavilion overlooks the lake and has nearby restrooms. With its BBQ Pitt and two electrical outlets, Bandstand Pavilion is a wonderful pavilion for a day full of family fun. If you’re driving north to Arnold City Park, be sure to stop in Ozark Tackle in Pevely, Missouri. Owned and operated by bass fishermen, Ozark Tackle has all your fishing needs in one stop.
PECAN PAVILION. Pecan Pavilion almost doubles the capacity of Bandstand Pavilion by seating 80 people. Pecan Pavilion overlooks the 8-acre fishing lack within Arnold City Park. There is one BBQ Pit and one electrical outlet in Pecan Pavilion! Located in St. Louis Missouri, Chip-Away Lake Bait Shop is slightly northeast of Arnold City Park. Known for its fresh bait and friendly service, Chip-Away Lake Bait Shop is a perfect stop before your family day on Arnold City Park’s Lake. If you are not the fishing type, there is a walking path around the lake to get in 30 minutes of daily exercise. Approximately 1,500 steps (0.6 miles), the perimeter of Arnold City Park’s Lake is an easy walking trail to jumpstart your daily physical activity while enjoying the outdoor scenery.
DOGWOOD PAVILION. Dogwood Pavilion can occupy 100 people. This particular pavilion is located near the playground, lake, and bathroom – the ideal setup for family gatherings, birthday parties, and/or business parties. Dogwood Pavilion has one BBQ Pit and one electric outlet for visitors to utilize. Located just north of Arnold City Park, REI is your ideal outdoor store. REI offers outdoor gear and clothing ideal for hiking, walking, cycling, and everyday fitness. Their gear covers all weather conditions to ensure your outdoor needs are taken care of all year long. REI has a full-service bike retailer and repair shop staffed with the best-trained professionals to take care of your biking needs.
KIWANIS PAVILION. Located near Arnold City Park’s playground lies Kiwanis Pavilion. Kiwanis Pavilion can occupy 160 people. With this spacious amenity, Kiwanis Pavilion has two BBQ Pits and 5 electrical outlets, ideal for family reunions, birthday parties, and/or the hub for a local 5k event. The outdoor activities range in variety with a pavilion (and possible group) as large as this one. If you need more than the two horseshoe pits provided, we suggest bringing your own outdoor activities – cornhole, frisbee, etc. – to get the most out of Arnold City Park’s beauty The family-owned specialty outdoor retailer, Alpine Shop has your outdoor needs covered through all seasons. If you’re entertaining a larger-than-normal group, take advantage of Arnold City Park’s 2 multipurpose fields. For a friendly game of two-hand-touch football or maybe you simply want to play tag with the kids, Kiwanis Pavilion is an ideal location.
TRAILS. Arnold City Park has one main trail – Arnold Park River Loop Trail. This trail is considered ‘easy’ as it is approximately 3.7 miles in length and is estimated to take about 1 hour and 5 minutes complete. Located behind the park, visitors can access the Arnold Park River Loop Trail through the back of the park. Although the trail is old, paved roads that wind through flood plains, it provides solace to those seeking a different type of workout. Arnold Park River Loop Trail is dog-on-leash friendly, wheelchair-friendly, stroller-friendly, and kid-friendly – the ideal walk to make family memories.
